Communiversity Day, held every spring on Old Campus, offers a fair for New Haven schoolchildren and families who participate in a range of activities and demonstrations—like this mini-science lab—offered by student volunteers. Nearly half of all Yale undergraduates participate in a wide range of community service work throughout the academic year.
