Yale Development Council

Consisting of committed alumni, parents, and friends of Yale from across the country and around the world, the Yale Development Council is an essential partner in the University’s fundraising initiatives. Members, who serve for a term of three years, work together with Yale administrators and Office of Development staff in a dedicated effort to advance excellence across all areas of Yale.

Among their other activities, the Council meets twice annually – at least once in New Haven – to confer with and advise University and Development leadership.

Members of the Yale Development Council play a critical role in the life of the University – as donors, advocates, volunteer leaders, and advisors.
