Professional Interests:
I’m a french psychiatrist with training in family therapy and anthropology. I participated in the creation of a mobile crisis team (ULICE) and I worked on a street outreach team for homeless individuals with mental illness. I'm interested in how the psychiatric system in general, and psychiatrists in particular, can more actively approach the client and how the mental services can best meet the needs of people with mental illness and their loves ones. I'm at Yale University to learn about recovery-oriented practice and to observe the work of the peer mentors and how can they work with--and not for--the clinical team.
