How We're Organized

The ASSET Team is a group of task forces, working groups and initiatives working to improve business processes at Yale. The groups are set up in the following manner.

Task Forces

Business Services Task Force is responsible for determining what areas of the business processes are not working efficiently and how they can be improved to work more efficiently. The Business Services Task Force is responsible for overseeing the following areas of business:

  • Travel Task Force is responsible for determining how to improve the processes that affect the costs involved in travel as it related to University business.
  • Printing-Publishing Task Force is responsible for determining how to improve processes related to publishing costs that are incurred for University business needs.
  • Business Services Task Force is focused on identifying the University-wide business services in most need of improvement and those which offer the greatest opportunity for future benefits.

Working Groups

Working groups fall under the direction of the main ASSET group. These working groups are made up of Directors, and managers for that specific group.

  • Procurement Working Group is responsible for determining how to achieve costs savings on supplies and equipment required for Yale's business endeavors.
  • Leased Space Working Group is responsible for finding better ways to utilize leased space and leasing space to others
