Upgrade Updates:

Microsoft released Internet Explorer version 8.0. At this time we are NOT upgrading to this version because it is not compatible with the BERT software. Please contact the helpdesk if you have further questions.

There is lots of helpful information in the Reference folder in BERT, such as:

  • Upload your own list of ID's into BERT to create a savedlist!
  • Benefactor ID's for Screen Lockout (recently updated)
  • Explanations of different codes and salutations
  • Designation Listings
  • Reports that display different codes, events, and more

Locked Prospect Records in BERT & Benefactor:

  • Do not leave any BERT or Benefactor update screens open for a long period of time with data displaying on the screen. Remember to exit the record when you have completed looking up or editing the record.
  • Use the inquiry screens in Benefactor or the profile in BERT if you are only looking up information and not doing any data entry.
