Toure' is the host of The Cycle which airs on MSNBC weekdays at 3pm and the Now, which was named one of the Most Notable Books of 2011 by The New York Times and The Washington Post. It was also nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work of Non-Fiction. In 2013, he published a book on the legendary artist Prince titled I Would Die For U. He is currently working on two other books: one on multi-platinum rapper Nas, and one which investigates what it means to be a man in America today titled What’s a Real Man? (Spring 2015). He is a columnist for Time.com. He lives in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, with his wife and two children.
