Current Information

Your morning mail arrives and you begin to open it. Then you come to a letter for someone that is in another department or in another building. Trying to be helpful, you reach for your Yale Directory and look up the person's current address. The letter goes back in Campus Mail and you continue opening the morning mail.

But what about that letter. Was the information you used to look up the address accurate and up to date?

It is not uncommon for Campus Mail to find letters being forwarded to buildings that no longer exist. Or mail being forwarded to departments that moved from that address several years before. Perhaps the person does not work at Yale any longer.

Please be sure the information you are using is up to date. Use the latest copy of the Yale Directory or, better yet, use the on-line Yale Phonebook at http//www.yale.edu/cgi-bin/ph
