ADMISSIONS
Class Composition
To create
the best possible working group, the class will be composed of senior managers
from diverse professional backgrounds, both technical and non-technical,
national and international, and from public and private organizations. Commitment
on the part of the applicant‘s organization is an important factor
in selection. The maximum class size is 22.
Fees
The
comprehensive fee for training and room and board for the Seminar
is $8,000. It includes all instruction, all course materials, hotel, most
meals, field trips, local transportation and privileges at athletic facilities,
libraries and computer centers. The fee does not cover transportation to
and from New Haven, some meals, or personal expenses. To encourage broad
representation within the class, tuition is reduced to $4,500 for a limited
number of public service participants. Sponsorship from third party organizations
are welcome.
Application Deadline
First
deadline: March 24, 2003. Second deadline: April 21, 2003. Applications
received by March 24 will receive priority consideration.
Admissions Procedure
The
admissions form should be completed and returned accompanied by a résumé
and a cover letter briefly describing your interest in the program. You may fax your application or mail it to CELS at the address provided.
Cancellation
Refund of the entire fee can be given for cancellation prior to May 12, 2003.
Refund of half the fee will be given for cancellation after May 12, but
before May 26, 2003. Substitution of participants, if mutually agreed to by
Yale and the sponsoring organization, can be made at any time before the
beginning of the session.
