JERS-1 RADAR Images for Africa

The Center for Earth Observation has acquired RADAR data for parts of Central and Western Africa. These data are from the JERS-1 Global Rain Forest Mapping Project (GRFM) 1996-1997. Forty-one individual scenes are available covering the following time spans:

In addition, fifteen sub-scenes have been extracted from these large scenes and geo-referenced to precisely match existing Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) images in the CEO Archive. These sub-scenes can be found in the World Reference System (WRS) 2 TM Path/Row web pages listed below:
