The
Yale Chemical Biology Symposium is a day-long event that applauds and highlights new advances at the interface of chemistry and biology. Held annually since 1998, the symposium has been unbelievably successful - in recent years attendance has sky-rocketed to include more than 250 researchers from Yale and nearby (and not-so-nearby) universities and companies.
The Symposium is organized by faculty within the Departments of Chemistry, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB), and Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry (MB&B), at Yale University.
The panel of speakers for the 2012 Symposium includes Jeffrey W. Kelly from The Scripps Research Institute, Karl Deisseroth from Stanford University, Gerald F. Joyce from The Scripps Research Institute, Herbert Waldmann from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology, Ruben L. Gonzalez, Jr. from Columbia University, and Jonathan A. Ellman from Yale University.
