Learning about Yale's resources: touring the Cultural Centers, and meeting the Assistant Deans, Residential College Deans, and Yale College faculty and staff
   
Meeting your Ethnic and Residential College Counselors: students participate in interactive activities and attend a panel on student life
   
Visiting Mashantucket, CT to take part in the largest Pow Wow in the northeast, Schemitzun, a Pow Wow hosted by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut
   
Showcasing your talents at our Poetry Jam, where both visiting artists and CC participants read their poetry or performing at the CC Talent show (a variety of talents (instrumental, vocal, fine arts, dance, etc.) are welcome!)
   
Participating in joint activities with freshmen in other Pre-Orientation Programs (Orientation for International Students, Freshman Outdoor Orientation Program, and Freshperson Conference)
   
Taking part in small group discussions, workshops, and other programs to gain a greater understanding of various academic resources and create a sense of community within CC
   
Trips to Lighthouse Point Beach and Hammonasset Beach and other local points of interest
   
Touring Yale facilities and becoming better acquainted with what Yale has to offer!
