General Awareness: Research Materials Shipping and Export Controls

This training provides an overview of the hazardous materials regulations and export controls. This training is for anyone working in an area where hazardous materials (biological, chemical, or radioactive materials) are used or potentially shipped from.

Please note: This training does not allow you to ship hazardous materials. Additional training is required as outlined above.

To fulfill your training requirement, review the training and successfully complete the online quiz. The training is located at:http://www.yale.edu/ehs/powerpoint/ GeneralAwareness.htm.

Prior to shipping any material, a Research Materials Shipment equest must be completed and faxed to EHS at 785-7588 or sent through campus mail to: EHS, 135 College Street, Suite 100.
