Business Operations Network

Business Operations promotes two-way communication and feedback about a range of finance and business matters through a network (PDF) of meetings and working groups, listed below.

  • Monthly Meetings (2Ms)
  • Community Meeting (BOCM)
  • Business Operations Semi-Annual Meeting (BOSAM)
  • Leaders Exchange and Dialogue (LEAD)

You can read more about each group and find their contact information on the Business Operations page of YaleBiz.

Communication Standards

Communicating with Business Operations

In addition to the Business Operations meeting structure, there are two other channels for more frequent communications: YaleBlu, a live website and monthly publication that pushes (sends) information to all Business Operations staff, and broadcast messaging.

To assure that important information is effectively conveyed in a timely fashion, Business Operations has developed standards for sending broadcast email messages to business operations staff.  Please download a copy of the broadcast messaging standards and the messaging process for Business Operations for easy reference.

Communicating with Business Operations Groups

There are several groups that meet within Business Operations. To find the contact information for each group go to the Business Operations page on YaleBiz.

As soon as you know you would like to make a presentation to a Business Operations group, submit your information through this electronic form. It will help plan the agenda and prepare team members for a thoughtful discussion of your topic.
