Bobbi: I wanted the experience of dorm life (I lived at home in college), and after living my first year off campus, I longed for the companionship, location, and lowered cost of living on campus. Living in HGS has probably been one of the most beneficial and formative experiences in my life. I honestly would have dropped out of graduate school in my third year if it hadn't been for the friends I made here. The number of activities for dorm residents are countless, especially in HGS: dinners over Spring Break, game nights, movie nights, etc. Plus, the dorm residents are such a community that we often have our own impromptu movie nights, game nights, and whatever else. Of course, it would be great if this beautiful, old building were in better repair. But, I'd still never trade HGS for a newer building any day.
