If you’re interested in getting involved with Yale Hillel, which we hope you are, there are many great ways to get started. Involvement with Hillel can begin anytime; while we offer special programs for freshmen, we always welcome new upperclassmen. No matter what your interests, between Hillel and our affiliated organizations, there is something in our community for you.

Check out our calendar of upcoming events. Just show up to any event that interests you and meet other involved Yalies. Shabbat dinners are an especially good way to meet other students and learn about our programs. Look for upcoming Town Hall meetings where you can meet the Hillel board and voice your opinion about the future of Hillel. Also, if you’re not yet on the Hillel Panlist, click here to join and receive weekly updates and special information.

If you’re a freshman, please visit our Class of 2012 page. We have several fantastic events planned to welcome you into the Jewish community at Yale, beginning the very first day you arrive. Once the fall semester is underway, we will form a committee of freshmen to plan special events for the Class of 2012. If you’re interested in joining this group, please e-mail our Outreach Coordinator, Harris Eppsteiner.

To learn more about the many undergraduate organizations that work with Yale Hillel, visit the Affiliated Organizations page. Also, if you have an interest in a particular area, whether it relates to social action, education, Israel, religious life, or any other area, please do not hesitate to e-mail one of the Hillel Board members.

Thank you for your interest in Yale Hillel. We hope you see you soon!
