Tim Retzloff
I work on the 20th century U.S. with particular interest in how the process of suburbanization intersected with the growth of postwar lesbian and gay communities. I received my (belated) B.A. in history from the University of Michigan where I wrote my senior honors thesis under the guidance of Matt Lassiter. My scholarly publications include articles in Centro Journal, GLQ, and the anthology Creating a Place for Ourselves. George Chauncey is my advisor.
