Guide to HR Web Stylesheet

Styles are used to provide consistency in the web type face, which maximizes readability throughout the site, ensure the integrity of the site design and to make formatting your content easier. The following is a listing of all the styles that are necessary when working with your content. If you require an additional styles, please contact Internal Communications.

All text is formatted in the same typeface and is automatically set for you. You can also select Normal from the drop down menu.

Page Title (h1)

Styles are used to ensure the integrity of the site design and to make formatting your content easier. The following is a listing of all the styles that are necessary when working with your content. If you require an additional styles, please contact Internal Communications.

Sub-Heading (h2)

Use this style as the secondary heading for your page.

Sub-Heading (h3)

Choose this the preferred heading for a title that supports your secondary heading. A bulleted list simply created by clicking on the Bullet icon on the toolbar:

  • Item One
  • Item Two
  • Item Three

Sub-Heading (h4)

A numbered list simply created by clicking on the Number icon on the toolbar:

  1. Item One
  2. Item Two
  3. Item Three
Sub-Heading (h5)

Use this style for a section of your page that relates to a sub heading.

Using Correct Styles for Related Links

The related links area in the right navigation should be formatted the following way:

  • Heading - select Heading 2 from the styles drop down in Contribute.
  • Links - Create a bulleted list by clicking on the bullet icon in Contribute. No other formatting is necessary.
