OISS Calendar of Events
This publication outlines the year's events, which includes bus
outings, the IC Cafe series, Community Connection programs, Crossing Cultures
discussion series, Taking Care of Business series, Understanding America dinner
discussion series, and the English Conversation Groups schedule.
IC Cafe
Join us for the International Center Cafe, a social evening featuring
local Yale talent and themed events (such as karaoke,
games nights, spoken word and musical performances, and more). The Yale
community is invited to enjoy great company, free snacks and refreshments, and
plenty of entertainment and socializing.
Understanding America: Dinner Discussion Series
These dinner discussions, inspired by talks given by each of the
invited guests, aim to get below the surface of U.S. culture and society by
tackling some of the toughest most topical issues. A light supper and
refreshments are served. Pre-registration is required.
ISPY (International Spouses and
Partners at Yale)
A group specifically for the spouses and partners of Yale students
and scholars. Find out how to get connected and involved with the small
interest groups.
Playgroups at Yale and in New Haven
If you are here with young children, you will want to get connected
with other parents and take part in the many groups and programs in the
community.
