Converting
Word to HTML
Using Microsoft Word
version 97, 98 or 2000, open the file you want to convert.
From the File Menu
on Windows choose "Save
as Web Page" and click "Save". The file
type will be Web Page and the file name will be, for example,
hist121a_syl. Click "Save" and you'll have an HTML file
named hist121a_syl.
on Mac choose "Save
as HTML " and be sure to add .html after the file name,
e.g. hist121a_syl.html
Note:
You cannot upload a file with a space or any of the following characters
in its name: & # \ / : * ? " ' < > |. Word often
provides a filename that may have spaces or special characters in
it. Please type a filename without spaces.

Be sure to remember where
you are saving the file on your computer so you can find it again.
If this is part of your website, save it in the folder where your
other web files are located. More
