add the extension .doc to the filename, e.g. jones1.doc. The filename
must NOT contain spaces, special characters or accents.
How to
upload the file for the class: Students should log in to https://classes.yale.edu/student
and if they haven't already
done so, sign up for the class. They should then click the Blue

Click
and you'll see something like this.

Notice that the Uploader's name
is listed as well as the date and time that the file was submitted.
If you've received a large number of
files, you can use the "Sorted by" drop-down menu to rearrange
the files. "Reverse Date" enables you to see the most recent submissions
first

Managing the uploaded files:
You can view the files by clicking on the
file name, or download them to your own computer.
Click Edit
and you can use the functions you see below to organize the files.
For example - create a new folder and move all the files into
it.

Suggestion: for
classes in which you ask students to review each other's work
you can move the files to the Materials
Section where they can be seen by everyone.
