There are essentially two approaches to putting your syllabus online.

  What is involved Benefits
Use syllabus already created by a word processing program (e.g. Microsoft Word). Convert it to HTML or PDF and upload. Saves making extra copies of the paper syllabus. Changes and updates can be made easily.
Create a web site for the syllabus. Requires some planning and more time. For the advanced user. Permits inclusion of pictures, additional documents and all the features of a web site.

If you prefer to keep your syllabus on another server you can submit the URL and an automatic link will be created from the Classes server syllabus page to your syllabus.
