Driving directions: To drive to ISS, take I-95 north from New York or south from Boston. Merge onto I-91 north, then take the Trumbull Street exit (Exit 3). After you come off the exit ramp, go through the light and straight onto Trumbull Street. After two more lights, turn right onto Hillhouse Avenue. ISS is on the second floor of Allwin Hall, 31 Hillhouse Avenue, a beige house with green shutters. To drive to the Omni Hotel, take I-95 north from New York or south from Boston. Merge onto I-91 north, then take the Trumbull Street exit (Exit 3). After you come off the exit ramp, go through the light and straight onto Trumbull Street. After one more light, turn left onto Temple Street. Drive straight on Temple through the Green: the Omni Hotel is on your left immediately after the Green. Walking from the Omni Hotel to ISS: To walk from the Omni Hotel to ISS, go out the front door of the hotel and turn right. Walk along Temple Street, through the Green, and keep going straight. Three blocks after the Green, turn left onto Trumbull Street, and then right onto Hillhouse Avenue. ISS is on the second floor of Allwin Hall, 31 Hillhouse Avenue, a yellow house with green shutters. Parking: There are no guest passes for parking at Yale, but there is metered street parking on Hillhouse Avenue and nearby streets. Yale Travel Agency and Information Website: Yale Travel provides comprehensive information on travel to Yale University and New Haven. Hotel information: Visitors to Yale frequently stay at the Omni Hotel New Haven. The Omni is not marked on this map, but it is located at 155 Temple Street, one half-block south of the New Haven Town Green. Parking is available in a public garage next door to the Omni. ISS makes frequent use of the Quinnipiack Club, located at 221 Church Street, New Haven. Parking is available on the street, via meters, and in public garages near the Club. |
