What is it?

A new way to communicate with one another efficiently and effectively! Microsoft Lync is a communications tool that not only offers instant messageing (IM), but many other features to enhance collaboration and communication in your organization.

Eligibility

Faculty and staff are eligible, provided that they are using ITS-supported, Yale-owned computers that meet the current ITS standards.

Support

Support will be provided under your current support agreement.

Cost

Currently there is no charge for the Microsoft Lync service.

Order or change service

The latest MS Lync software with configuration and installation instructions can be downloaded from the ITS Software Library.

You will need to select the download for the appropriate version (32-bit or 64-bit) of Windows you are running. Not sure what version of windows you are running? Click here to determine.
