Computer-based training

In support of Yale University's commitment to learning, the Organizational Development and Learning Center has partnered with Element K, a leading provider of e-learning to bring you this comprehensive course offering. In addition to Outlook you can sign up for training on the entire Microsoft Office suite and much more. This is your best course option if you want to find specific information (using the search function) or you want in-depth self-paced training for Outlook 2003 or 2007. This option is not available for Entourage users.

To sign up for this course, visit the Microsoft Office Productivity E-Learning Course Library.

Quick reference guide

The Quick Reference Guide is a one page document that describes how to use the most common features of Outlook and Entourage including sending and receiving mail, attaching files, and creating lists. It also includes common keyboard shortcuts. This is your best training option if you don’t have enough time to go to the training class, or will only use the basic functions of Outlook or Exchange.

This document is available from your local support provider.

The YaleConnect website

The YaleConnect website is the primary source for information about the YaleConnect service. It provides information about requirements, how to get training, setup instructions, frequently asked questions, and troubleshooting.
