What is YaleConnect?
YaleConnect is ITS’ new email service that runs on the Microsoft Exchange email infrastructure. Microsoft Exchange is a messaging and collaborative software product. Exchange's major features include email, calendaring, contacts, tasks, and support for mobile and web-based access to information. To take advantage of all of its features, it is best used in conjunction with Microsoft Outlook on Windows personal computers or Microsoft Entourage on Macintosh systems.
How will I access my email and calendar?
Your email and calendar will be accessed in Windows using Microsoft Outlook, while Macintosh users will use Microsoft Entourage. Yale ITS recommends Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007 for Windows users. Macintosh users should use Entourage 2004. In addition, you can use any web browser to run Outlook Web Access to read your server-side email.
