>>Shomuni Viewing
Circle Starts Thursday!
JAY
continues its tradition of bringing you the latest in
highly-entertaining Japanese TV dramas with the comedy series Shomuni.
In the world of big-business Japan, there are, behind the legions
of sarariman (businessmen) a force of female workers who make
up the "errand department." However, the Shomuni errand
department is a whole lot more than a mere tea-making service--they're
six tough women, a cool male boss, and an orange tabby cat! Come watch
this extremely popular and hilarious office drama with us, starting
this Thursday-- this is a series you won't want to miss!
Starts Thursday, September 26th
@ 8:00PM in the Jonathan Edwards Buttery (TV room)

>>Sen to
Chihiro no Kamikakushi -- Second Showing?!
We had a great turn-out for our
screening of Hayao Miyazaki's latest animated masterpiece, Sen
to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Spirited Away). But now we hear that
there may be more folks who'd like to see it, or see it again. If
you are interested in having a SECOND screening of Sen to
Chihiro, please e-mail
me and let me know. If we get enough interest, we will show the
movie again, as always, free of charge.
