Stop thinking, just apply! I'm kidding of course, but in all honesty, Yale offers one of the best undergraduate experiences available anywhere and that's no exaggeration. It goes without saying that the education is top notch, the professors are inspiring, and the campus is gorgeous. What might not be so obvious from fact books and brochures is the undeniably enthusiastic atmosphere created by the students.
Yalies are the most vibrant, friendly, and fun-loving people you will ever meet, and it is virtually impossible to find an undergrad who is not head over heels in love with Yale. This atmosphere really makes an excellent college experience an unforgettable life experience - a time when you make memories and relationships that will last for your whole life. There are few schools in the country that have such a happy and successful student body, and you should really consider making Yale your college home.
Congratulations! We can't wait to meet you in the fall! As a freshman, you will find that there a gajillion things to do and just as many organizations to get involved in here on campus. It's really a good idea to get plugged into at least a few of these organizations, and KASY is a great place to start.
One of KASY's greatest strengths is its diversity. There are members from every class year pursuing the whole spectrum of studies at Yale, and they can offer valuable advice on classes, other undergrad organizations, and college life in general. The KASY community is really a family, and we value hanging out, talking, eating, and just chillaxing with each other just as much as
the organized events held throughout the year. In particular, freshmen are very pampered by the KASY upperclassmen, so for that reason alone, you should come check out KASY. If you are interested in joining KASY, one of our board's top priorities is to make the incoming freshmen feel very welcome and cared for. Please come out to the first few events of the school year and get plugged into a family. We hope that KASY can be a big part of your first year and make it truly memorable.

Feel free to contact any of the board members, and we can talk to you or set you up with somebody else if you prefer (ie. if you want to talk to someone majoring in Psychology, someone who plays the french horn, or someone from Oklahoma). Emails and AIM conversations are great, and if you happen to be in the same geographic location as a KASY member over the summer, it's very possible that s/he may want to meet you in person for lunch and a chat about Yale.
In addition, one of the best ways to get a feel for Yale is to come and visit. If you are interested in visiting the campus, we can arrange for you to meet a KASY member and spend the night at his/her dorm if you are interested. We hope that you will give Yale and KASY a chance to wow you, thanks!
