can't find qt 1.42

I just tried to intstall kjukebox for KDE and it gave me the following:

rpm -i kjukebox-0.1.5-1.suse6.i386.rpm
failed dependencies:
qt >= 1.42 is needed by kjukebox-0.1.5-1

But I am certain, that I have installed qt 1.42, my running

ldconfig -v

gives me:

/usr/lib/qt/lib:
libqimgio.so.0 => libqimgio.so.0.1
libqt.so.1 => libqt.so.1.42

which looks to me as if 1.42 is found. I had the same problem with other
programs. I even installed qt 1.44 for a while but since this gave
problems with KDE 1.1 I switched back to 1.42. Does anyone have a idea,
what is wrong (QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt ) is set.
