You mean the syntax for the KPOP service format? It's actually moderately
obscure, for reasons so bizarre that Andy Newman told me that even *I*
wouldn't care about them. :)
The syntax is
kpop.pantheon-po@NET.YALE.EDU
regardless of which Pantheon PO server you connect to. Obviously, you
have to specify the right one, which will be <NetID>.mail.yale.edu. KPOP
runs on 1110. Whee... I think that's all you need to know. A common
error is to lowercase the realm (NET.YALE.EDU); it's case sensitive.
If you mean the syntax for the protocol, can't say I do. :) It looks much
like POP, if I remember correctly, except that you send a bunch of
Kerberos garbage to authenticate and then, when prompted for your
password, say something like
PASSWORD MEANINGLESS
but that really, really doesn't matter... ;)
