Thanks a lot for all the help. I got now a small 486 server in my house
connected to 2 Windows machines and one linux. This server dials
automatically out into the ppp account when any of the machines likes to
have some contact to the 'outer world' -- it disconnects once too much
idle time has passed!
Now my only concern is the firewall. I have the 2.2.5 Kernel running and
after reading most of the ipchains info it rather seems to me like an
art to configure a firewall then a straight forward thing to do.
Can anyone give me some advise what I really need?
