20th Century Seminar
The 20th Century Seminar served as the think tank and
incubator for ideas on all matters regarding the region. It allowed our
faculty and graduate students to establish a conversation among themselves
as well as with other colleagues and so created a synergistic space where
faculty and students established the basis to generate collective intellectual
foundations for the study of South Asia at Yale.
The Seminar met for a two hour session twice a month, when
faculty members addressed, from various perspectives, the idea of a South
Asia in the 20th century.
