Between 6 pm and 7:30 am 359 days a year, any person with a valid Yale ID card can obtain free transportation on the Yale Nighttime Shuttle from Yale buildings to residences, from residences to Yale buildings within the service boundaries (see map of service area). The SLB/SML and Railroad shuttles do not run during the summer and recess periods.   Due to weather or traffic conditions, buses may run a few minute early or late. It is recommended that all passengers arrive at designated bus stops in advance of scheduled times.   The Nighttime Shuttle does not run on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and July 4th or the day of National observance.   Comments and/or concerns about service should be directed to Ed Bebyn, Manager of Parking & Transit at 432-9790 (M-F, 8 am-4 pm) or by email to ed.bebyn@yale.edu

Scheduled Route Pick-up Stops Go to one of the stops listed on the schedule and wait for the next Shuttle. A bus passes each stop every 15 minutes.   Off Route Pick-ups If you cannot safely go to one of the listed stops, call 432-6330. The dispatcher will radio one of the buses to go off route and pick you up. If you require an escort to the nearest pick-up point, the Escort Service is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
