Faculty Lounge
Informal monthly faculty gathering, which we call our "Faculty Lounge" during which a specific scientific theme is discussed over a glass of wine. We believe that such gatherings will yield new and fruitful interactions among researchers in the biological and medical sciences at Yale, improve communication and collaboration among research groups.
Faculty Lounge takes place the last Friday of each month in room SHM C-103, on the first floor of the Sterling Hall of Medicine. Former Faculty Lounge leaders were Drs Richard Flavell, Haifan Lin, Anton Bennett, Themis Kyriakides, William Sessa, Jack Elias, Arthur Horwich, Sandy Wolin, Paul Lombroso, Sidney Altman, Martin Saunders, Peter Cresswell, David Stern, Tommy Cheng, Carolyn Macica, Dan Wu, Lloyd Cantley, Michael Caplan, Joseph Madri, Jonathan Bogan, Li Wen, Diane Krause, Philip Askenase, Derek Toomre & Valentina Greco.
Faculty Lounge is spearheaded by Agnès Vignery.
