OISS invites all School of Art, Drama, and Music international students to a presentation featuring Daniel Aharoni, attorney at law specializing in artists and entertainment law. The session, which is open to all Yale arts schools, will be of value to any arts students, but in particular to those graduating this May.

The ABCs of T: Supporting a Transgender Colleague
International Center, 421 Temple Street
This panel will discuss recent efforts at Yale to become truly inclusive of our transgender colleagues, particularly at the time they are transitioning from male to female or female to male. We will also offer concrete suggestions of how to support a colleague who is transgender.

Anjoscha Kaus, Post-Doc in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, will address the specific realities of being transgender in the workplace and offer concrete suggestions of how to support a colleague who is transgender. Andrea Wilson, former co-chair of the staff LGBTQ Affinity Group will talk about the work that group has done over the past five years. Maria Trumpler, Director of the Office of LGBTQ Resources will discuss transition plans, ways of informing supervisors and co-workers, and best practices nationally.

Is baseball still America's pastime? How has the game changed? Explore part of America's history in sports with OISS. We will have a presentation exploring the cultural history of the game, baseball in popular culture, and go into a fun activity! There will be food served typical of a US baseball game. Come join the fun!
