Don't be a victim

All those files on your computer's hard drive represent hours and hours of thought and effort - don't let those hours go to waste. It is a tired refrain but BACK UP YOUR DATA! The MCSC Repair Unit sees far too many broken hearted customers whose hard drives were not backed up - we can replace the failed drive but the data is often lost and gone forever. A hard drive can fail or a virus can strike in an instant and if you have no backup there is little that can be done to save those valuable files. Sure, data can be manually recovered from a failed drive in a cleanroom somewhere but this is exceedingly costly and takes time so why chance it?

There are a variety of ways to safeguard your data ranging from simply saving important files to diskette on a regular basis to backup to a central server over the network where available. Explore your options and figure out how best to make sure that the data of most value to you is secure.
