Artist and naturalist Roland Clement offers advice about sketching birds to Joan Hickey of Hamden during his class on "How to Paint a Bird." The class was sponsored by the Peabody Museum of Natural History, and participants used the specimens in the museum's ornithological collection as models for their artwork.
