The scheduled switchover from the United Illuminating feeders serving the Central Campus to the new Yale cogeneration feeders will take place on Wednesday,
April 15, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Although it is expected that this switchover will not affect electrical service to the Central Campus, there is a potential for a power outage during this one-hour period. Should an outage occur, service is expected to be resumed within a half hour.
It is advised that computer files be backed up and the use of elevators avoided during this time frame. If you have questions, call 432-9077.
