The summer troupe of the Yale Children's Theater -- an undergraduate student group whose goal is to introduce area youngsters to the fun of theater, movement and improvisation -- will perform June 24-28 at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas (see related information, this page), and will stage two shows during the summer. The first production will be June 26-28; the second show will be staged July 24-26 (titles to be announced).
The Yale Children's Theater also runs a series of workshops for children called "Hands-On." The workshops, which teach children about theater, improvisation and cooperation, will be held Saturday mornings June 13-July 25 (except for July 4)
10 a.m.-noon. The cost of the six-week program is $75; some fee waivers are offered.
