HISTORY of PEACE BY PEACE
Peace by PEACE at Yale, formerly Peace Games, is now in its tenth year. It began in 1993 as a four week curriculum, and now it is thirteen weeks long. In 1999, Peace Games at Yale changed its name to Peace by PEACE; the second PEACE stands for “Playful Explorations in Active Conflict-Resolution Education.” Peace by PEACE at Yale is affiliated with Peace by PEACE International and with the Francelia Butler Foundation.
