Pegasus Project

The Pegasus Project is designed to take on the challenge of creating a robust and affordable autonomous aerial platform for both commercial and military applications.

The ultimate goal of the project is to design a UAV for entrance into the International Aerial Robotics Competition (IARC), sponsored by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, beginning in 2007.  This annual competition, held on the grounds of the Ft. Benning military facility, offers the opportunity to test our system, interact with other students from universities across the United States as well as increases the visibility of Yale and its engineering program.
