Paul Horwich is professor of philosophy at New York University. He is most well-known for his deflationary theory of truth and his defense of a Wittgensteinean use-theory of meaning. He is the author of "Truth" (2nd. Edition, OUP, 1998), "Meaning" (OUP, 1999), and "From a Deflationary Point of View" (OUP, 2005). His keynote presentation is entitled "The Nature of Paradox".

Austen Clark is professor of philosophy at the University of Connecticut. His research focus is philosophy of psychology, with a particular emphasis on sensory qualities, sensory representation, color vision, and qualia. He is the author of "Sensory Qualities" (OUP, 1993) and "A Theory of Sentience" (OUP, 2000). His keynote presentation is entitled "Modeling Sensory Awareness".
