Yale Collegiate Polo Club

The Atlantic Cup 2006 took place this year from March 12-14 at the Yale Polo and Equestrian Center. Oxford came away victorious with close matches against both Yale squads. Cambridge had a good showing and finished third.

Held this year at the University of Virginia, Yale Women returned home with a wild card to the 2006 National Competion at Cornell University

The April (Fools) Cup

The April Cup is the one that really counts for all of the marbles. Pitting the best and brightest Elis against each other, Yale Polo squared off in some intrasquad competition. Team Da Bomb came away victorious in 2006.

The Harriman Cup Saturday, September 24, 2005 Ox Ridge Hunt Club An annual match between Yale and UVA alumni, this wildly popular event took place at Ox Ridge Hunt Club in Darien, Connecticut on September 24. Yale Alumni came away with a 10-7 victory over UVA. As one Yale Daily News article put it, "When you see horses galloping and Aston Martins parked for fancy tailgates, you know you are at a polo match." Click here for more information. Did you know? The Yale Polo and Equestrian Center is housed in the armory, which was built by the army in 1916 to train calvary.
