I am an ecologist interested in questions that link population, community, and ecosystem ecology. I primarily work in aquatic ecosystems, but I also study interactions and processes that link aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Central research topics include: the application of stable isotopes to food web ecology, the determinants of food web structure and dynamics, the importance of intraspecific variation to community and ecosystem ecology, eco-evolutionary interactions, and the impacts of environmental change on communities and ecosystems. |
