Profile:
Business Accounting Manager in the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry -Yale Program For Recovery and Community Health. My work is to analyze, examine, and ensure financial fiscal strength management to the program committed to helping those with mental illness.
Role in Program:
Business Manager
Professional Interests:
My current focus is on examining possible ranges of financial outcomes in any given situation from the present to future, similar to an economist.
I review, research and study financial data like an economist does. Then I figure out what the data means. My professional background and exposure is in the corporate areas ranging from law audit reviews, financial analysis, accounting to technology research and development. I have experience applying different methodologies in providing solutions to consumer needs in legal, retail and software products.
The values I have gained in corporate and community partnerships helps guide me and the rest of my colleagues to make a positive impact in the lives of persons with mental illness and psychiatric disorders. People helping people is our bottom line. Our programs goal is to assist persons with various mental disorders to recover and live meaningful lives within the larger community to prosper in a healthier state of mind, body and soul.
The stigma still surrounds mental illness, however, with awareness, acceptance, and understanding it will someday be a distant memory.
Education:
University of Bridgeport, MBA, MS
Sacred Heart University, B.S.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my family, cycling with my wife and walks with our dog. When away from the office, I am very active as a Commissioner with the Town of Hamden Clean&Green Commission. I enjoy cooking, baking (make great apple pies), and most of all running and hitting the gym to relax.
