Role in Program:
Financial Assistant

Professional Interests:
As a recovering alcoholic since 1979, I consider that one area of my training in this field.  From that experience, I have been interested in assisting people in all forms of recovery.  I will also be joining the research team in interviewing consumers.  I am a champion of civil, human and animal rights, and will continue to speak up for the underdog whenever I can.

Personal Interests:
I love sharing time with my husband hiking, watching old movies and spending time at home with our cats.  I am a conservationist, a naturalist and a musician and music lover.  My husband and I own a used record store in Hamden, and I personally think that without music, life would be a mistake.  I am a Red Cross disaster relief worker, and have responded to a number of emergencies around the tri-state area, including September 11th, 2001.  I find solitude in nature and in the kindness of my family, friends and co-workers.  I am also heavily involved with many local land trusts throughout Connecticut, including Hamden, Guilford and Madison, as well as the Sleeping Giant Park Association. I was appointed to serve as a Justice of the Peace from 2009-2013.
