music

Originally, Proof's repertoire consisted exclusively of jazz and swing. Since then, we have expanded our style to a selection of music as diverse as our members. All Proof music is arranged by members or friends of Proof. Every song is tailored specifically for our exuberant performance style.

current repetoire

Proof's repetoire draws influence from a variety of sources, including classic female jazz vocalists such as Ella Fitzgerald and the Andrews Sisters, motown hits by the Shirelles, and more recent pop stars including Natalie Cole. Proof also sings a number of traditional Yale songs. The current repetoire is always changing as we introduce new arrangements or bring back old ones, but certain classics appear in every concert - including our closing alumnae song, In the Mood!
