Leo is a junior in Pierson College double-majoring in Economics and Environmental Engineering. He has had the privilege to conduct volunteering work in India with Reach Out in 2010 and led the Reach Out China trip in 2011. Leo's fabulous experiences with Reach Out since freshman year have greatly motivated him to enhance his involvement with this amazing organization on campus. An international student hailing from China with living and travel experiences in some 20 countries, Leo has a keen interest in green tourism, international trade, and race equality issues. He welcomes all Yale students and faculty members to explore a different world from the U.S through Reach Out's upcoming trips! | |

Ananya is a senior in Silliman College, and is majoring in Economics. She is interested in broadening the horizons of the Yale Community and building a stronger relationship between Yale and various developing nations. Her experience leading a trip to Thailand in 2010 inspired her to become more involved in Reach Out and in impacting both members of the Yale Community and local partner organizations. She believes that cross-culture inundation can create a life-long impact on everybody involved. She is also very friendly and wants to do good in the world! | |

Amal is a sophmore in Saybrook college. Her interest in global affairs (and cuisine!) was nurtured by the multicultural goodness of her hometown of Toronto, Canada, as well as her Somali parentage. Last year she went on a Reach Out trip to Uganda where she learned a tonne about the operations of community based organizations and the challenges they face, while becoming friends with innovative Ugandan leaders and Yale students. She really believes in the power of cross-cultural experience to impart knowledge, unite people and ultimately change the world for the better. | |

Leena is a junior in Silliman College majoring in Global Affairs. She is originally from Lebanon and is very interested in global health and international medicine. In the past, Leena has interned with an NGO that specialized in preventative healthcare in the Palestinian Refugee camps in Lebanon. This summer, Leena interned with the United Nation Population Fund and focused on issues dealing with HIV and youth advocacy. Leena was Campus Outreach Coordinator last year as well and is working to broaden Reach Out's impact at Yale and increase the student body's interest in international development. | |

Iva is a Sophomore in Saybrook College. She grew up in Albania until she was 15 years old, when her parents moved to the United States, right outside of Boston, MA. Iva speaks Italian, Spanish and Albanian. Her love for learning and reading, and especially for foreign languages led her to become an Italian Literature Major, which she is pursuing at the moment. On the Reach Out Board she serves as one of the Outreach Coordinators. | |

Sally is a junior in Morse College majoring in History and Political Science. Her interests in sustainable development and travel have come together through services abroad. In high school she worked on a turtle conservation project in Tecoman, Mexico as well as an organic farm in rural Korea. At Yale she participated in a spring break trip to Cambodia and has since become involved with Yale Reach Out. Sally's hobbies include looking through old photos and visiting art galleries. | |
