Research Interests
I am interested in the role of affective processes in the onset, maintenance, treatment, and prevention of psychopathology. In this respect, I specialize in emotion regulation within the context of mood and anxiety disorders, particularly generalized anxiety disorder. Additionally, I have an interest in emotion assessment and how informant discrepancies affect research designs and clinical practice. I rely primarily on experimental studies using a multi-method, multi-informant approach to model the complexity of emotional processes. I received my B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
