About Me
I graduated from UC Irvine in 2007 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Psychology and Social Behavior after matriculating from UC Berkeley where I originally studied Nuclear Engineering. My primary interest is in studying the factors that contribute to personal, social, and professional development and deterioration. Furthermore, I hope to focus on developing new and innovative methods for turning scientific psychological data into practical and real world interventions that supplement our everyday lives while promoting healthy behaviors. I am currently applying to Ph.D programs in psychology for the fall of 2010. My goal is to have a career in academia, engaged in research that focuses on "strategic science," which aims to directly influence policy.
