Media and communications

 

Most nutrition information available to the general public comes from the food industry. Perceptions surrounding weight and body image are largely influenced by popular media obsessed with size zero celebrities to the exclusion, or humiliation, of the overweight majority. Clearly there is a need for better and more balanced information. The Rudd Center addressed that need in 2006 through a variety of programs.
